Hi all; David noticed me some time ago that patch 2.7.1 leads to build failures.
I've updated yesterday my build host to (k)ubuntu 14.04LTS and patch was updated to 2.7.1 - and no surprise I see the same error: File Bering-3.4.75.config is not a regular file -- refusing to patch 1 out of 1 hunk ignored -- saving rejects to file Bering-3.4.75.config-i686.rej make: *** [.configured] Error 1 He also identified the cause for the issue and found a solution/workaround: "I suspect I have a more fussy version of the 'patch' command on my build host (Fedora 19, GNU patch 2.7.1) than most people. If I add the "--follow-symlinks" argument to the "patch" calls in linux/buildtool.mk it works as intended." I confirm it works also on my build host (unless something fails later in the build). If you still have an earlier version patch, can you pls test, if it breaks, if we change buildtool.mk and add "--follow-symlinks" as parameter? If it breaks - any ideas for a workaround? kp ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ _______________________________________________ leaf-devel mailing list leaf-devel@lists.sourceforge.net https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/leaf-devel
