No one else on either list has tried to answer this, so I'll give it a 
shot. Be forewarned, I've never setup pcmcia on a LEAF release or LRP.

First suggestion. Make a backup image of your working floppy, and make a 
new floppy using the backup image. That way, you'll at least have something 
that works for the original setup.

8MB of memory is kind of low. The recommended minimum is 12MB. Have you 
tried reducing the ramdisk size, or changing the package load order? Let me 
know if neither of these suggestions work, and I'll try to come up with 
something else for you to try.
