You may have noticed an absence of updates on my progress with LRP+PCMCIA. This was first caused by problems with my PCMCIA controller, then a corrupt root.lrp [and a floppy disk that I thought was booting and having the same problem, but it turned out that the disk wasn't booting at all]. I fixed the corrupt root.lrp. Now, I'm back at having trouble getting it to work. The controller uses a Cirrus PD6722 chip; google searches for it provide a couple useful links, but unfortunately, nothing that worked. So, my whole point is, I'm currently at the point where I'm battling with my hardware. Should I try to package things in a semi-usable format for others to try on their [hopefully more cooperative] hardware? -- rick -- A mind is like a parachute... it only works when it's open.
