Hey thanks, that was a great place to start.
They are loaded with info, and have some helpful
databases.

So from what I gather, Prism[23] cards have decent
linux drivers and only run 802.11b.

I have to read a lot more to learn how Linux handles
Lucent/Orinco/Cisco type cards and why people like
the Cisco Aironets so much and whether there are any
802.11a implementations.  I don't mind spending a bit
more at this point on an (a) version deployment.
