Chris:
DOH. :)
Can't believe I forgot IRC. Sigh. Okay, forget
1.1, version 1.2 is now up in all the same places. :) It
adds IRC support, and I've gone and alphabetized the list
of services so it's easier to navigate (and support). see
the README for the full list of 30 services.
Also, it is an ipchains-based script. I plan on
adding iptables/netfilter support, but I hadn't planned on
going backwards to the 2.0 kernels. Perhaps you could be
convinced to upgrade? Echowall was built for the Eigerstein
releases, installing itself over the default rulesets with
that distro with zero conflicts. It de-installs itself
nicely too (see "echowall install" and "echowall deinstall").
It also works with both DHCP and PPPoE IP address
renewals from your ISP, automagically re-init'ing itself.
For two-NIC, non-DMZ, LRP/LEAF usage, it's not half bad.
Hope it works well for you!
cheers,
Scott
