Are you going to dial your ISP, if yes then you do not need mgetty.
If not some people use getty anyway, yes I know mgetty is for modem use
but getty was used for that before mgetty existed.
I am using the image to dial my ISP and provide for internet access to
my home network. I as yet do not have demand dialing working at least not
the idle timeout unless I set idle to less than thirty seconds.
But I do have SSHD running available only from my internal network.
