Thanks to folks for your suggestions. I've got my leaf box up and running with dnscache, tinydns, dhclient, dhcpd and more. Cool. What an excellent system.
One question: I'm curious how the ram disks work. When I do df -k, the total size would seem to be larger than the amount of memory on the machine leaving nothing for actual useable ram. That can't be right. How is ram disk space allocated?
