You have the classic problem of making the network neighborhood work across two network segments. You could use a WINS server (or the WINS support in nmbd in samba) and point all machines to that, or do the poor man's version & forward all UDP137 & UDP138 to the other LAN. The latter solution would (of course) eat up bandwidth and cause all the other problems associated with forwarding broadcasts. WINS really is better for this kind of thing.
