It would be /etc/lrp.conf on ES2B > Running E2B with PPPoP from Ken H, 2.2.16 Kernel, 2 floppy boot. > > Thanks for any help, my box does not support CDRom boot to migrate to the > new version. You don't need to upgrade your entire system (although that might be the easiest/best solution), and you don't have to boot off CD. You can boot off floppy and still use the CD disto, and there's still a floppy-only version available, so no CD required. If you don't want to upgrade everything, you can grab the latest POSIXness from CVS on SourceForge (see the SF docs for anonymous CVS download access). You may also be able to simply swap out your root.lrp, which will get you the bulk of the Dachstein upgrades (new busybox, new POSIXness, &c), but you may hit a few snags...I don't think there are any glaring problems, but I haven't tested this sort of "upgrade". BTW: If you do choose to try updating your root.lrp, use the Dachstein root.lrp from one of the floppy releases...the CD-Rom versions have modified backup and init scripts that don't make much sense for a floppy-only boot.
