Hi all, I've set up a working VPN with DCD 1.02. I had to use Freeswan 1.90 though because I needed a DES-patch which was created for 1.90 (and yes, I've read the Freeswan manual concerning weak encryption ;) ). I've changed the scripts so they reflect the DCD environment. The thing I haven't figured out is, every time I start ipsec (/etc/init.d/ipsec start) I get the following error
ipsec_setup: Starting FreeS/WAN IPsec 1.9... ipsec_setup: WARNING: ipsec0 has route filtering turned on, KLIPS may not work ipsec_setup: (/proc/sys/net/ipv4/conf/ipsec0/rp_filter = `1', should be 0) so I change the setting by hand echo 0 > /proc/sys/net/ipv4/conf/ipsec0/rp_filter What I would like to know is, where would I have to go, to make this a permanent change, and what are the implications. Any help is greatly appreciated.
