I asked the same question of Coyote developer Joshua Jackson, and he told me [snip] Coyote Linux was split from the LRP over 2 years ago and very little, if anything is still compatible. While most .lrp packages can be retro-fitted to work with Coyote due to the fact that both distros used glibc 2.0.7, the init system for Coyote was completely rewritten. [/snip]
I have been told, (and could be wrong), that Dachstein uses glibc 2.0.7. So there are similarities, but incompatibilities. -Nathaniel Jason C.
