Hmm... I read the docs of the HiSax driver (it has been a while since I 
last used it). And I noticed I forgot to specify the type of card and 
the protocol on the insmod commandline. After adding these parameters, 
everything works fine!

Once again, the proof that one *should* RTFM before complaining ;-)
