Bering is likely a good platform for this... we have had some very promising
test results with Bering Beta4, but are still working out a few wrinkles
with Bering RC1.  We intend to publish details of the configuration once we
have completed our testing. 

Your PCI-PCMCIA adapter might be a big problem if your PC is not fully
compliant with the  PCI2.2 specification.  There are a variety of sources
documenting this issue. We use the ISA-PCMCIA adapter for this reason.

Bering should be able top support most PCMCIA wireless adapters, but I would
suggest you investigate orinoco_cs for use with your hardware.  Is there a
specific reason you must use wavelan2_cs?  Check out
