Hi everyone. Could someone tell me the expected packet per second performance of a 100, 200, 400 and 700 mhz pentium systems.
OR a source that could give me a means of calculating this data myself. Any info or leads would be greatly appreciated. Assume 64 MB or 128 MB of memory and a 100 or 133 bus. Assume ipsec encryption (or the like) Does having multiple NICs (3 - 6) effect the calculation or should I just be concerned with the total number of user ports. I'm trying to figure out how beefy a machine I require to satisfy an optional number of user ports.
