Hi Peoples!

I'm getting this error in the startup of a new install of bering v1.0-rc2...

Error. 'ptables: Invalid Target Name 'icmpdef'
I'm thinking this has something to do with shorewall configuration but am
stumped as to where I've gone wrong..

I performed the following steps in setting it up

( P.S I am setting up a PPP connection (modem connected to PPP0 (external)
internal net eth0 )
* Download Image
* Run self-extracting image
* Edit syslinux.cfg and add/remove modules required
* Deleted from floppy
    pump.lrp ( I have a static IP )
    bridge.lrp
    dhcpd.lrp
    ppoe.lrp

* My 'syslinux.cfg' LRP line looks like
   LRP=root,etc,local,modules,keyboard,ppp,shorwall,dnscache,weblet,log

* booted from floppy and copied modules mii.o and 8139too.o to /lib/modules

* edited /etc/modules and uncommented modules required for PPP and realtek
network card drivers (mii and 8139too)

* Backed up etc.lrp and modules.lrp

*Configured Network in lrcfg
/etc/hosts (changed 1.254 to 2.254)
/etc/resolv.conf (same as above)
/etc/hosts.allow (same as above)

*Backed up etc.lrp

*Downloaded latest.lrp (from shorewall site) renamed shorwall.lrp and copied
to bering floppy

*Downloaded and copied files from two-interfaces to /etc/shorewall

*Edited rules file and added the lines
ACCEPT    loc    fw    udp    53
ACCEPT    loc    fw    tcp     80

*backed up shorwall.lrp

I haven't setup PPP to dial out yet, as i was getting worried about this
error and wanted to resolve it before i continue....

If you need anymore info, plz let me know and I'll get it to you ASAP

Thanx
Jay
