I believe that there is a bug in guitarlynn's .LRP package of udhcp (available from: http://leaf.sourceforge.net/devel/guitarlynn/).
It would appear that there's a bug in the dhcp-client script (/etc/init.d/udhcpc) - the release and renew functions seem to have their -s signals inverted. That is to say that the release and renew functions behaved more as I expected when I inverted the -s 10 and -s 12 parms between the release and renew case statements, in the /etc/init.d/udhcpc script. BTW, a big thanks to guitarlynn for putting together the package. Excepting this small nit, it's absolutely slick, and amazingly small to boot. If it's not obvious, we now have DHCP _release_ functionality for our LRP boxen via this udhcp package!!! Cheers, scott -- A frequent disappointment is meeting someone we have heard so much about. _______________________________________________________________ Have big pipes?
