Hi,

I´ve loaded snmp.lrp.
If I do a snmpwalk, I got a "No Response from 192.168.1.250" msg.
If I setr SNMP_BLOCK=NO, then I got snmpwalk working OK.

What does SNMP_BLOCK and SNMP_MANAGER actually do??
Does SNMP_BLOCK open snmp both on eth0 and eth1??
Does SNMP_MANAGER allows only listed computers to access snmp??
Do I have to use hosts.allow and hosts.deny???

I know there are some vulnerabilities on snmp. And I don't
want my firewall open to the internet!!!

# This set of variables is used with both sets of filters
SNMP_BLOCK=NO                   # Block all SNMP (YES/NO)
                                # List of IP Nos used for SNMP management
#SNMP_MANAGER_IPS="192.168.1."

I would also like some hints and links in order to learn how to setup
snmp.lrp properly providing eht* usage, cpu usage, etc. and provide
this info to a another server using mrtg.

TIA

Sergio Morilla
