I have a machine with Bering running off a floppy, which is running SETI.
The contents of the seti folder are copied to HD every hour.

Linux has a tool called HDParam (not installed in Bering :( or just set the
time out in the bios to 1 minute. (as i have)

Subject: [leaf-user] Hard drive switch off

Hello, i'm considering installing a hard drive into my LRP box running
dachstein, however, is there a way to COMPLETELY switch the hard drive off
after LRP is loaded into the RAM? I haven't installed the hard drive yet
because i don't want the noise. Is there a way?
Thankyou,
