Weird one here. My Bering RC3 box has just started behaving very odd when it brings up the ppp link (serial modem).
The after the modem wailing finishes there used to be about a seconds' worth of data and then the link would be live. Now I have to wait around 30secs while the modem sporadically sends and receives data before I can ping anything (even from the box itself). I'm guessing that either 1) the chap/pap buisness is not working properly 2) somthing on the box is getting preferential treatment (e.g. dnscache etc) Any ideas?
