Hello,

I keep getting these grsec messages during bootup & they're always at
different times, mostly when it's at the point of loading ppp, dhcpd,
shorwall, dnscache, or weblet. I'm wondering if this has to do with the
order they're loaded in syslinux.cfg or some such? It's always at least 1
of these & usually 2... They're always packages that are listed at the end
of the syslinux.cfg

LRP=root,etc,local,modules,ppp,dhcpd,shorwall,dnscache,weblet

here's 1 of the grsec messages, the Protection Fault message shows up
occassionaly. Sometimes after it has finished booting it mostly works, but
most of the time, especially when at least 2 packages give the grsec
message, it can't do much of anything. When it does it on ppp package it
can't dial. Even going to the console & entering pon it says "pon: not
found". If it does it on shorwall there's all sorts of problems.

grsec: signal 11 sent to (sed:24895) UID(0) EUID(0), parent
(linuxrc:17503) UID(0) EUID(0)
grsec: more signal warnings, logging disabled for 30 seconds

The current solution to this problem is simply to continue rebooting until
all the grsec messages stop appearing. But this can take anywhere from 2-10
reboots & average is around 5. If it was consistently the same package I
would simply figure it's a problem with the package or that space on the
floppy, but it seems to change with each reboot.

Any ideas as to what the problem is?
