Hi again group,
I'm attempting to use leaf (bering) as a recovery disk to do
"bare-metal" recoveries from amanda. I see that most of the modules are
available (ext3, eepro100, tlan) but I need one for the compaq
"SmartArray3200". The RedHat 7.2 module is "cpqarray.o". I also need to
make a .lrp package of amanda-client. I know that leaf is based on
debian but I need a little more direction to get this working.
Which verison of debian is leaf based on?
How do I make a .lrp package from a compiled source tree?
I know the packages are compressed tarballs can I just pipe
'make install' to 'tar'?
Can I compile a module by it's self or do I need to compile the
whole kernel?

if you need more info let me know.

thanks to all,
chrisj
