In any case, Bering RC2 modules should be compatible.
I compiled my own module from the WISP sources and it paniced the kernel
So in the end i had to replace the kernel with the new one from my build and then the 3c509 module i had compiled worked. (but all the others didn't so i replace all the other modules too)
So i guess if anyone is going to make the modules available they will need to make sure their build environment is identical to that used to build the official kernel, otherwise the modules will be incompatible.
