I have created a stock dachstein cd. This boots ok.
Next I changed all packages to use fd0/msdos/partial for backup and backed
everything "L" option to a standard 1.44 floppy.
Then I reboot , still booting from the cd but with the floppy in the drive,
and I get the following at the end of booting and loading all packages.
INIT: version 2.78 booting
INIT: cannot execute "/etc/init.d/rc.S"
INIT: Entering runlevel: 2
INIT: cannot execute "/etc/init.d/rc"
I then get a login prompt. I found that there are only three files in
init.d (dhclient, dhcp, dnscache).
None of the /etc/rc?.d files exist either.
