try ez-ipupdate -H, it will give you a list of supported options, here with the dyndens providers

-S, --service-type <server> the type of service that you are using
try one of: null ezip pgpow dhs
dyndns dyndns-static dyndns-custom
ods tzo easydns easydns-partner
gnudip justlinux dyns hn zoneedit
heipv6tb

You can update most dynamic DNS services without using their specific program. You might want to analyse their perl code, some are just using a http request which can easily be done with wget.
