I wrote some scripts for that, which should make upgrading and maintaing
multiple firewalls really easy, if you have a linux / unix box with root
access (could also be virtual):

diffleaf: Show all the differences between your installed packages and the
default packages, i.e. the configuration files you edited.

makeleaf: Combine custom configuration files (normally few) with the
standard packages to get a pre-configured firewall

The packages are now available in the patches section (look for patches by
alexrh) while I'm hoping for developer access. As soon as I get that, I
shall upload a much improved version including e.g. automatic resolving of
kernel module dependencies.
