I recommend that the basic connectivity and routing within the configuration be established before even trying to start Shorewall. Sean isn't to that point yet.


Sean -- if you have Shorewall started, "shorewall clear" then troubleshoot your ping problem. After you have all the boxes talking to each other THEN you can start with the firewall configuration.
