Hi all,

Is there something special I should know about comiling my own kernel for
bering uclibc version 1?

So far I tried starting from stock 2.4.20 & apply patches from the bering
environment

Starting from the 2.4.20 prepatched kernel sources from the download dir.

Compiled those in a gentoo 1.1 (2.4.19 kernel environment) & in a woody
uml environment.

Kernels seem to compile fine using the bering config (adding ipt_string
& smp support).

But booting using the kernels is unsuccessfull

Kernel Panic attempted to kill init.

Any help greatly appreciated.

Tabee
