Thanks - the package works fine (sorry for the late
reply - I've been very busy). As you say, the ftp user
and a suitable home directory (default /home/ftp)
needs to be created if you want to use anonymous ftp.
If you want to set the shell of an ftp only user to
/bin/false then you need to add this to the
/etc/shells file.
