Some weeks back I saw a thread that talked about using the ext3 filesystem on a Bering firewall. I have a small file server for use with Samba on my Bering 1.1 firewall and would like to switch from ext2 to ext3. I copied the suggested files ext3.o and jbd.o to boot/lib/modules. Active lines in /etc/modules are: eepro100 options=0,48 ip_conntrack_ftp ip_conntrack_irc ip_nat_ftp ip_nat_irc /boot/lib/modules contains: cdrom.o ide-cd.o ide-probe-mod.o smbfs.o ext2.o ide-disk.o isofs.o ext3.o ide-mod.o jbd.o Which of the 2 files (jbd.o, ext3.o) must come first in boot/etc/modules? Once I get the modules loaded, do I need to run fdisk to convert the filesystem or can I just edit the fstab file to mount as ext3?
