Hi, My ISP NTL uses lots of rfc1918 addresses on its cable network. There are several IPs in the 10.0.0.0/8 network that I have to allow through my firewall. The simplest solution is to just remove the norfc1918 option from the /etc/shorewall/interfaces file.
But I am unsure of what effects will arise. Is this a really bad thing to do? Or will it not really effect me? Thanks.
