In that case I recommend using
public key authentication and disabling password authentication.

Thats a good idea. I will have to set this in sshd_config,
I already did some search ;-).


MAC addresses would only help if your on the same subnet as the router.
I learned that some years ago, but forgot it -- until I tried
it some days ago ;-)
