If your /etc/shorewall/hosts file defines "loc" as "any hosts connected
through eth0" then you shouldn't need to do anything for shorewall. (See
documentation at www.shorewall.net)  Check your /var/log/messages file for
messages relating to shorewall stopping packets.

If you are still having problems, you should confirm that all routers and
hosts involved in a connection have appropriate routing tables
configured... you may be able to send a packet, but you might never get
one back if the other devices are misconfigured.
