The difference is, its all set up for you and ready to go.

Its alot like any other hardware solution on the market where the OS and settings are done all you need to do is configure it match your own situation.

Unless of course that board comes with an onboard encryption processor other than that it looks like just a standard embedded system without a nice looking enclosure and power supply.
