Probably saved about $30 using the WRAP over the soekris which also has a bigger box. Other than that they seem pretty close. The soekris has a battery for the clock - which the WRAP does not. I run my LEAF on a UPS, so at 5 watts it should last for many hours in the event of a power failure. The soekris switching 12 volt power supply never gets warm and neither does the WRAP box.Victor,
I saw your post on the LEAF list on getting going with a WRAP board.
I have a Soekris (4501) and need another, and can't decide whether to go with what I'm familiar with or to use the excuse to try something new. Do you have any opinions on which is the "better" board for running LEAF? Have you seen anybody doing comparisons?
Thanks,

My LEAF boxes typically run for almost a year uptime before an upgrade makes me reboot. The one thing I don't know how to do on a WRAP is reboot from over the network - without physically unplugging the power.
