Dear List,

There was a recent posting from Erich Titl regarding a patched kernel for WRAP applications, that then allowed a reboot (hopefully remote). Can anyone point me to the information (Erich ??). I have tried the archives, but am probably searching for the wrong keywords.

For Bering I have a 2.4.20 and a 2.4.24 kernel. Recent Bering uClibc versions IIRC all have a kernel version which supports the wd1100 driver. If you want to compile your own, the wd1100 patch is available at:

http://cvs.sourceforge.net/viewcvs.py/leaf/devel/etitl/kernel/

Tha patch shouls apply cleanly on 2.4.20, I tested lately on a 2.4.27 where new drivers changed the configuration files. I ported the patch, but it may not be available on CVS yet. Let me know.

Erich

I didn't realise it was already built -in. Have got it working now.
Now to work on the keyboard errors (I know I could ignore them, but it's somehow cleaner if I can suppress them). I have the link to the patch, now I must learn to compile the kernel ;-.)
