I have successfully installed a Bering 1.2 on my Soekris net4521 but i have a "little" problem because i can't save any parameters in the config files ( i.e: ip adresses ).
I establish the connection to the soekris with serial port (using Minicom running under a root and a normal user account ).
Any idea of what i've miss ?

Make sure that the destination is correctly configured in the backup menu.
Make sure it is not mounted. The backup program will fail to work if the device is already mounted.
