[EMAIL PROTECTED] a crit :

Has anyone installed a webcam on their router? I want to setup a webcam that
just takes a shot every so often and displays it on a webpage, live feed is
optional, and I think resource heavy, but would be cool if its possible.

Obviously this is just a fun item, and not a real need.

Thanks for any input.

Joey

Hi Joey,

Today i've tryed to use a wireless webcam ( the DLink DCS-2100+ ) through my Soekris net4521 which is using as router/access point/firewall.
This webcam using a webserver where you can manage from a browser and set up the network configuration and others stuff you need (video,sound,...)
It run very well !

But this "webcam" is quite expensive ( because of the wireless possibility ) so if you just want to play with it, try to find an other one cheaper ( but using its own webserver to avoid installing any software ).
