I did the install on my CF card too quickly without following the detailed instructions written sometimes ago :-)
When installing Bering using grub as a boot loader the /init=initrd.lrp statement must be written twice as explained in
http://leaf.sourceforge.net/doc/guide/bugrub.html
Everything is fixed now.
