I'm currently trying to set up extended logging for my LEAF-Bering uClibc box (WRAP board + Compact Flash).
In order to achieve this, I need to understand the CRON system that is used here. Does anyone have a description (which scripts are called by which program etc.).
Alternatively has anyone done more work in this direction.
My goal is to store the logs (so I can analyse them later), just before logrotate onto a second partition on the CF. All is working for the ulog system, but logrotate beats me to the daemon-log. I could just patch & hack in the multicron scripts, but it's so nicely written there "Processing Core It is recommended you don't add functions directly to his file. Keep them external and source them." so I would prefer a 'cleaner' approach.
I have searched and found a few comments from Charles Steinkuehler, but they were pretty old.
Can anyone help?
