| Will you upgrade Bering-CD to Bering-uClibc?

Unknown at this point...I haven't had time to look into Bering-uClibc

| Will you continue to use a CD-based system?

Almost certainly, at least until I upgrade all firewall systems to hardware
new enough to boot off of USB flash devices.

| I am curious about how to move to Bering-uClibc with a CD-based system.

|
| What do you think?

As I said before...the glibc used with Dachstein and Bering is getting quite
dated. I'd be inclined to go with a full disto (likely a 'stripped' debian
install) if I wanted to run a more recent glibc, or Bering-uClibc if I
wanted to stick with something light-weight.

I'll likely wind up doing both (migrating a couple of firewalls to machines
running debian, and leave everything else running Bering or Bering-uClibc).
