As you will know, I am new to Bering-uClibc, and I am also new to
Shorewall.

I notice that Bering-uClibc uses Shorewall v2.0.15, and according to
<http://shorewall.net> the current stable release is v2.2.2.

I am curious about three (3) things:

[1] How often is Shorewall updated in Bering-uClibc, and how is it
determined that a new shorwall.lrp is warranted?

[2] What are the differences between the current Bering-uClibc version,
and the Shorewall official stable release version? How do those
    differences affect my Bering-uClibc installations?

[3] What is involved in migrating my Bering-uClibc installations to the
    Shorewall official stable release?

Please, notice that I am not trying to make things complicated; but,
since my migration to Bering-uClibc -- as a firewall -- depends entirely
on Shorewall, I want to understand the implications to these issues.

TIA
