Hello Roger, A FreeRadius package would indeed be nice, but... It's a complex package, much more complex and bigger than Cistron Radius. It's not very trivial to create a buildtool setup for. It's also questionable if it's a good idea to run a FreeRadius setup on the LEAF router, security wise. An other problem is that you have to strip some functionality to keep the size and dependencies small for embedded use, which can limit its functionality.
There are a few options for WPA with LEAF: You can use an external Radius server, which is more secure (AFAIK) and has more functionality. Or you can use hostapd, if it supports you NIC, which includes and internal Radius server (http://hostap.epitest.fi/hostapd/). Ofcourse if someone has time to look into a buildtool setup for freeRadius, that would be very welcome. Eric > It seems a lot of people are using wireless on their LEAF boxes.
