In SYSLINUX.CFG is
...
LEAFCFG=/dev/fd0u1440:msdos

... and in LEAF.CFG is
...
PKGPATH="/dev/hdc4:msdos"

Boot floppy is formated as 1.44 MB DOS floppy disk and on that are these
files only (linux, leaf.cfg, syslinux.cfg, syslinux.dpy, ldlinux.sys,
initrd.lrp - with -ide support)

I also try comment out loading of vfat module (in initrd FS, mounted as
loopback), but it has no effect.

So story continues....

...
LINUXRC: Bering - Initrd - 2.4.2 uClibc
Using ide-core.o
Using ide-disk.o
Using ide-detect.o
hda: Maxtor
hdb: HDSxxxx
hdc: IOMEGA ZIP
hdd: LITE-ON DVD
ide0 at ...
ide1 at ...
Using vfat.o

LINUXRC: Mounting...pivoting...generating...populating...
LINUXRC: PKGPATH: /dev/hdc4:msdos
LINUXRC: Mounting /dev/hdc4 on /mnt1
hda: >>> 3 lines
hdb: >>> 3 lines
Partition check:
  hda: list of partitions...
  hdb: list of partitions...
!!!
!!! Why not list of partitions on hdc ZIP media? Heh?
!!!
3 times ... LINUXRC: Mounting /dev/hdc4 on /mnt1
LINUXRC: Installing - root: root(nf!) ... and all others packages.
LINUXRC: chown and chmod /dev...
.: 285: Can't open /var/lib/lrpkg/root.dev...
Kernel panic: ...

/dev/hdc4 is msdos (fat16) formated partition (mkdosfs /dev/hdc4)

Any ideas, where is the problem?

Thanks, bye, M
