The packages page usually reflects the current Bering-uClibc release - even if the packages we decided to include are called beta, rc or whatever by their authors. Note: The naming isn't necessarily related to the quality. The testing section is mainly for software, we don't use on our own, but we compile by request, or just for testing, and asking users for feedback. Sometimes software moves into the main section which will be part of the next version without a new version due to a unforseen problem with the new version. In the case of shorewall 3.4 - yes it will be definitely included into next version, which is around the corner (today shorewall 3.4 rc1 has been released, so we will update to that one of course). And yes, I'm running the new package (3.4beta) without pb's since day one on my production system, and it has some improvements for Bering-uClibc beyond shorewall changes, that it justifies to include a shorewall beta/rc into our next beta version. hth kp ------------------------------------------------------------------------- Using Tomcat but need to do more?
