Yeah, its clever. It needs to be included in the documentation, along with
your suggestion about the
second floppy. Sometimes newbies trip over their own thinking.
For now I am sticking with VMware. At work I am designing a whole VMware VI3
(Virtual Infrastructure 3)
environment and generally more familiar/comfortable with their products.
pcnet32 is the NIC hardware in the virtual machine.
Now for a question. I was able to copy pcnet32.o, mii.o and crc.o to the
/lib/modules folder. (Thanks again)
The problem is that my changes to /etc/modules don't stay persistant to the
next reboot, even if I use the
save option in the text config thingy. How do I fix this?
