Hey, I'm trying to exactly the same thing.

Where do you find the bootdisk.img file, because I don't see it??? I'm using
ISOBuster (Windows) to open up the Bering .iso.

Ok... The problem was the syslinux.cfg used at the boot.
If you mount the boodisk.img and change the syslinux.cfg inside, it works.
