Hello LEAF, I have been running lEAF-Bering 3.0 on a WRAP platform since it was released and everything works extremely well. I noticed only recently that the time on the box is not quite right. Studying the daemon.log I notice a great many entries:
Feb 8 19:07:18 brandmauer /usr/sbin/openntpd[8174]: adjusting local clock by -53.379618s These come in bursts of 2 or 3 with a delay between bursts (I can't really see a pattern to the repetition). The WRAP box has no battery-backed clock and depends upon ntp to set the time. This happens at boot OK and the time/date becomes set to something like correct, so a large change of time is working. It seems that the daemon detects that my box's time is skewed, tries to correct it but fails. The LEAF-WRAP box sits always about 58 seconds ahead of 'real' time. It's not a serious problem, just annoying as I use the LEAF box as the time server for my network so all PCs are synchronised OK, just to a slightly incorrect time. If anyone has any ideas where the problem might lie, I would be grateful to hear from them.
