The Bering-uClibc team released today a second beta version for Bering-uClibc 4.0.
Bering-uClibc 4.0-beta2 contains kernel and package updates and bugfixes for beta1. Most notable changes are: - The Linux kernel has been updated to 2.6.35.10 - busybox has been updated to 1.18.2 - introducing shorewall-lite and shorewall6-lite - a new image Bering-uClibc_i486_syslinux_ser (e.g for WRAP boards) is provided - bootstrapping into tmpfs for rootfs again (like in Bering-uClibc3 releases); this fixes out-of-memory errors on "/" and "df -h" shows again the size and used space of "/". The default size for rootfs is 40MB. - missing lwp files for webconf has been added.
