Hi Juergen,

Thanks for the feedback. So far that's 2 votes (you and me) for
FreeRADIUS and 0 votes for sticking with Cistron RADIUS.

LDAP support is a reasonable request, though I don't (currently) need it
myself. Looks like I need to add a Package for the OpenLDAP libraries
which seems to need a minor change to our uClibc configuration
(UCLIBC_HAS_WCHAR=y). That's OK but I'm not brave enough to make a
uClibc .config change for the 4.0 release now that we've reached the
4.0-rc1 stage, so these enhancements will go into 4.1-beta1 once 4.0 is
released.
        
I will raise a Trac ticket for this change, so that we can comment on
any questions I have about features to enable / disable. I will also
start drafting a RADIUS Server page in the Wiki.
