Hi,

I've found a general issue with linux and bridges - normally one would expect
that if an interface (like eth0) belongs to a bridge or a trunk that there
would be no address assigned to it - but no... ipv6 will be there...

echo 1 > /proc/sys/net/ipv6/conf/<dev>/disable_ipv6

I've tried to add this to a script in /etc/network/if-up.d but the script
disappears after each reboot. And adding it to interfaces does not really work
with a bridge; any ideas....

Regarding watchdog - the device does not exist (softdog) - how can I make sure
it's created every time my thing reboots ?

Thanks.

Casper
